This project involved building a new semi-trailer loading dock ramp. We had to temporarily hold the perimeter edge of the existing building structure with structural-load scaffolds. It was necessary to demolish the edge of the building’s foundation to allow placement of the new reinforced concrete semi-trailer docking ramp. The new semi-trailer docking ramp became part of the foundation of the building itself, and once cured, new structural support beams near the edge of the building were built which rested the load of the building in this area, on the semi-trailer loading dock itself.
